  1. Thanks Allan for this video, I learned more with these 25mn video more than a week searching in Google +1 but tell me please: How to put a social like (Facebook twitter and others) instead of "Home Widget 3" ? Could you advise me a good pluging all in one (Facebook twitter google+ pinterest instagram viadeo linkedin) to put in "Home Widget 3" too? THANKS VERY MUCH I subscribe to your (nice) videos !

  2. Thank you very much for this tutorial. It's been very helpful. I don't have the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget. Can I download it? Or, is there a similiar widget that I can use? Thank you.

  3. Hey, thanks for sharing! Helped me a lot 🙂
Only I couldn't change anything in the home.php because it looks way different now than back then when you created the video and I'm not a big programmer ;-)

  4. Allan, thank you very much for this video. I'm now through only half of it (and watching on), but you've already saved my day 🙂 I was dead stuck in the very beginning and desperate, and now IT WORKS haha. Except video embed in featured, but that's just details 🙂 Thank you!

  5. Figured it out. In Admin, go to Appearance > Theme Options > Home Page and in Responsive II there's a Check box that you have to click and put a check in it. Once you do that and refresh, the Home Widget 1, 2 & 3 shows up.

  6. Thank you very much. I seem to get another screen when I down load the Responsive theme. I don't get the Widgets 1, 2 & 3 underneath the main content. I get a few on the side bar. Like Archive, etc. Any solutions?

  7. How do I turn text in home Widget 1 into a link to another page. I want to have several links to different pages in this text. I have put a text widget in the Home Widget 1. I have the text there. Now I need to turn parts of that text into a link. Can you help???

  8. Thank you – this was definitely very helpful! One Q. though – within the home page widgets – how do I decrease the space between the header text and the top of a left aligned image and text flowing to the right of the image? There's just too much space in between.

  9. hi thank you so much for your tutorial. is there a way to change the font from the title? there is a plugin where i can change the content from the content area but not from the title and subtitle. thx

  10. Excellent video.  Thank you very much for taking the time to do this.  Just a nit, but you mention child themes.  Most people starting out may not know what they are and the benefit of doing the tailoring there. But other than that this is wonderful
