  1. Hi +kimmimebaby, I just commented one of your other videos, anyway I wanted to know why is it better or why do you prefer to move your wordpress website/blog from your localhost to your hosting service (hostgator) manually instead of using the duplicator plug in???(I read this in your other moving video description jeje) Thanks in advance for your reply (I haven't seen the whole video by the way, I just wanted to asked you before doing it).

  2. Hi! I just want to ask if all the configuration i made on wamp server gets uploaded too to the live server. My concerns is, there are functionalities and configuration that differs between wamp server and a live server, for example, setting up wamp to send email and configuring it so you can test email sending from wamp server is different from configuring a live site to do the same function (send emails). Please enlighten me more :)

  3. Hi, how can I move my new website that I`m designing from localhost to server with a existing site? should I delete it and then move the new one? Is all new content, new plugins.. all diferent but with the same urls! how can I do that? please help me! Thank you!

  4. hello! thanks for the video… when i try to install the duplicator it says :
Download failed. SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

I am using MAMP on a mac.. I have the latest version of wordpress.. what could be the problem?

  5. That's a great video. Also, does it mean that I do not need to import the database(from the localhost) that I backup as the plugin will do everything for us?

  6. I get this warning message: WARNING
The database "gab8809_dbx" has "6" tables. The Duplicator only works with an EMPTY database. Enable the action "Connect and Remove All Data" radio button to remove all tables and or create a new database. Some hosting providers do not allow table removal from scripts. In this case you will need to login to your hosting providers control panel and remove the tables manually. Please contact your hosting provider for further details. Always backup all your data before proceeding!

    What should i do?

  7. Hey Kim your video is 100% better than other 1000 videos and very straight forward I recommend this video everyone.
Thank you for taking a time to share your experience with other developers.

  8. Hi Kimmi, at 4:09 video frame, when you click on File Manager, you have a pop up screen called File Manager Directory Selection. I am using Bluehost but that pop up doesn't occur. I have multiple subdomains under my Public_html folder. There is only one public_html folder…. I guess it is safe to drop the archive and install files in there? Even though I haven't put it in the nominated "the document root"? Even the subdomains don't have public_html folders. What do I do?

  9. Thanks for this great tutorial.. please can you outline the steps or provide a good link to replacing an old site developed on a local host to it's original live server site? Thanks.
